Since its founding in December 2010, The Relationship Center has been a place of healing, growth and celebration of relationships with self, God and others. This has been accomplished through 1.) an environment that is intimate in its warmth and peacefulness; and 2.) the teaching, counseling, healing and gatherings-of-celebration offered within the RC. Through our recent launch of the Cellar, we have accomplished our vision of creating “Greater Intimacy” by providing both additional and more functional space.
The multi-purpose space…
· …has become home to epicmarriage.org and functions as a teaching center for the Epic Marriage Workshops as well as follow-up gatherings for additional teaching and counsel. The couples experience a greater ability to focus and connect.
· …is home to GO THE DISTANCE, a weekly men’s gathering every Thursday morning.
· …is available to be utilized by guests of The Relationship Center to present topical seminars, strategic planning sessions, theatrical performances, conferences and worship services.
· …in concert with the food preparation area, provides a great venue for gatherings celebrating weddings, showers, reunions, anniversaries, etc. This type of space for smaller, intimate gatherings is very limited in the areas surrounding the RC.
· …allows for space to provide group instruction and participation in physical activities focused on healing and caring for the body. Interest has been expressed by instructors of holy yoga and programs directed at bullying.
The SMALL-GROUP SPACE is designed to provide comfort and confidentiality for groups exploring “tough” topics such as boundaries, sexual healing, eating disorders and accountability. It is also a great space for small business meetings, Bible studies, support groups and sharing groups.
The KITCHEN area is available for classes on food preparation, nutrition and healthy eating. It is also a support area for caterers or in-house persons providing refreshments for gatherings.
